Running short on time? Want to spend less time paying bills and more time doing the things that truly matter to you? That's why GNG offers several convenient ways to pay your monthly natural gas bill. Simply choose the payment option that best suits your needs.
Online through your checking account or by credit card - Save time and postage costs by paying online. This service is available nearly 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and it's easy to register. You must have a copy of a recent GNG bill so you can enter your account number, name and address exactly as they appear on your bill. Your online check payment can take up to five business days and online credit card payment up to two business days to process.
Check or money order by mail - To pay by mail, please mail a check or money order in the reply envelope provided with your gas bill to GNG's payment address:
Georgia Natural Gas
P.O. Box 659411
San Antonio, TX 78265-9411
Allow at least seven business days for mail delivery of your payment.
Third-party pay stations - With GNG-approved, independently owned and operated pay stations throughout Georgia, making a cash or money order payment is easy. A nominal processing fee is charged by the pay station. Please note that your payment may take up to seven business days to be processed.
Telephone payment - With SpeedPay® automated payment service, you can pay your gas bill by telephone 24 hours a day. Just call 1-800-218-4926 and follow the recorded instructions. SpeedPay® accepts a check or Visa, MasterCard or Discover credit card. Your check may take up to five business days to be processed; your credit card payment may take up to two business days to be processed.
Automatic bank draft - GNG's bank draft payment plan automatically withdraws the amount due from your financial institution. Your account will be debited on the due date printed on your bill, unless that date is a holiday or a weekend. In those instances, your account will be debited the next business day.
GNG also offers our customers a way to make their monthly payments for gas service more uniform throughout the year. Under the Budget Billing Plan, GNG establishes a monthly budget payment based on a customer's estimated cost of gas service over 12 billing cycles. In colder winter months, when gas bills typically are higher, customers on the plan usually underpay their monthly gas charges. In the summer months, when gas bills typically are lower, customers on the plan pay more than their actual monthly gas usage.
At least once a year GNG calculates the difference between the budgeted amount paid and the actual usage for that period. This difference, called a variance, can be either a debit or a credit. GNG uses that variance to help calculate a new monthly payment for the next budget period.
Please note that GNG reserves the right to limit the availability of the Budget Billing Plan.
